  Nancy Halvorson, 56, of Bagley, MN, died on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital in Bagley, MN. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Faith Hill Assembly of God Church in Bagley, MN with the Pastor Gary Fry officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley, MN. Interment will be at Shevlin-Moose Community Cemetery near Shevlin, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted with the arrangements. She was born on September 18, 1952 at Bagley, MN to Andrew and Marian Oien, the second of three girls and 2 boys. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended grade and high school at Bagley graduating in 1970. Nancy did waitress work in restaurants in Bagley. She married Lyle Halvorson of rural McIntosh at the Grace Lutheran Church in Bagley on July 6, 1974. They bought a home and small acreage in Holst Township, where they raised their family. Nancy worked at the Minnesota Dehydrating Plant in Fosston for the last 13 years and was employed there at the time of her death. Lyle died on March 7, 2008 and she continued living at their home. Nancy collected Knick Knacks and enjoyed Bingo. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the greatest mother, wife, grandma, sister and person, we will miss her a lot. She is survived by her daughter – Lori Ranisate of Bagley, MN Two sons - Denell Halvorson of Mayville, ND Jake (Christine) Halvorson of Gonvick, MN Mom and Dad – Andrew and Marian Oien of Bagley, MN Three Grandchildren – Sean and Alec Halvorson and John Ranisate Brother – Wayne (Teresa) Oien of Clearbrook, MN Brother – Scott (Rhonda) Oien of Lengby, MN Sister – Joyce (Kenny) Moen of Bagley, MN Sister – Susan (Alfred) Hoiland of Bagley, MN.
